We are pleased to announce that Thurston County has entered Phase 2! Businesses may re-open immediately if they can meet and maintain all requirements, including providing materials, schedules and equipment needed to comply. That being said, here are the changes to how our day-to-day operations will look:

  • Limiting traffic to confirmed appointments only; No guests 
  • Masks MUST BE WORN while in shop
  • Sanitize your hands upon entry 
  • We will have water available, please bring your own container
  • If you wish to remove your mask to eat/drink/smoke, you must exit the shop first 
  • Smocks will be worn by clients when possible

Yes, the State Guidelines for Phase 2 lay out a few rules that are pretty uncommon to tattooing however necessary to the health and safety of the public and we intend to cooperate 100% with those guidelines. Any of our clients who do not wish to follow the guidelines will not be welcome in our studio. 

For the foreseeable, we will be sticking to a virtual model for consultations in an effort to minimize unnecessary foot traffic. Consultations can be booked via the Book Now page on our website, let us know if you prefer FaceTime or Instagram Video Chat and we will contact you at the chosen appt time. Post-consultation, you will get a Square Invoice from us (Check your Spam, these come from the Square Invoicing email and not our and once that is paid, you can revisit the “Book Now” page and select your appointment date and time!

As many of our clients know, we have streamlined the process for getting a Flash tattoo! Simply find a design you love, purchase it and visit the Book Now page to book your appointment. It’s really that easy! From that point, it becomes YOUR DESIGN and will never be tattooed by Cody again. We recommend taking an idea for a custom piece and using the Search feature in our store to see what Cody’s take on your design might be. 

Once we have reached the day for your scheduled appointment, you should pre-screen yourself by going HERE and we ask you to kindly reschedule if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell. We will gladly allow you to reschedule at any time prior to your appointment, although a no show fee will be charged for failing to communicate BEFORE the scheduled appointment time. 

When you arrive, please call or text us at (360) 590-8666 and let us know! Per the state guidelines, we ask that you now wait in your vehicle until we are ready to begin the tattoo. We will now have you complete our medical waiver on your phone from the comfort of your vehicle, then put on your mask and come in when your tattooer is ready. Upon your entry you will be asked to place your personal items on a sanitized surface and directed to the restroom to wash your hands for 20 seconds. We may then ask you to put on a single use smock, depending on the area to be tattooed.

We ask that you do not bring jackets or hoodies, purses, food or any personal item that you will not immediately need. If you do not have a mask we are more than happy to provide a free mask to you, please let us know if you are in need of one! 

We are now using non touch methods of payment exclusively. Our preferred method of payment continues to be Square Invoice, however we can accept Venmo or PayPal as well. Tips are never expected but always appreciated!
